A Christmas Carol: The Musical — December 15th
Ready for a taste of Broadway right here in Naperville? Come join the cast of A Christmas Carol: The Musical for their final show of the season! You’ll sing, laugh, and maybe even cry as you watch this spectacular performance, and there’s still time to snag a last-minute ticket.
This unique adaptation of Dickens’ tale features Alan Menken of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, as well as Lynn Ahrens of Ragtime. Head to Meiley Swallow Hall to get in on the action, and be sure to arrive early—the theater will fill up fast!
Yuletide Festival and Fair — December 5th – 22nd
Make the holidays merry and bright with a few extra gifts under the tree! Naper Settlement’s Yuletide Festival and Fair has something to offer the entire family, and it’s also a top-notch way to support local artisans.
Wondering what’s in store? This free festival offers live entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, food and drinks, twinkling lights, and more. Don’t forget to check out the rest of the historic Naper Settlement while you’re there. This 12-acre living museum is the perfect place for an afternoon of learning.
Bubble Bash: A Kid-Friendly New Years Eve — December 31st
Naperville’s younger residents won’t have to stay up too late to ring in 2020. Head to DuPage Children’s Museum to check out Bubble Bash, a one-of-a-kind New Year’s Eve celebration that your child will love!
Instead of a midnight celebration, kids can count down to noon and craft lasting memories with old and new friends. They’ll love the hands-on exhibits, as well as the live music and endless bubbles. You can even create a confetti popper and music makers to mark the new decade!
New Year’s Eve at the Mansion — December 31st
Ready to experience one of the best New Year’s Eve bashes in all of Naperville? Now is the time to reserve your table at Mesón Sabika, the area’s premiere tapas restaurant and event venue. This historic mansion hosts an unbelievable party at the end of each year—it’s the perfect place to ring in the Roaring Twenties!
Families can sample 6 different tapas before 6:30 PM. After 7pm, the venue turns into an adults-only party that features live Spanish guitar and flamenco dancing. The mouth-watering short rib and lobster combo simply can’t be beat—it truly is a feast for the senses!
